Meet Our Superintendent
Mr. Shepard is beginning his 39th year in education. He began his career in Dawson-Verdon Nebraska, a Class D School and taught Industrial Technology and coached 3 sports. He continued teaching and coaching for 10 years during which time he led Lincoln Christian High School to a Class C-2 Boys Basketball Championship. He then became the Middle School Principal in Mundelein, Illinois. After serving for 5 years in Mundelein, he served the Ralston Public Schools as High School Principal for 12 years before moving to Superintendent of Schools in Louisville, Nebraska. Following Louisville, Mr. Shepard served as Superintendent of Schools for the past 7 years in Cambridge, Nebraska. Mr. Shepard is married to his wife Tami and has 4 kids, 3 son-in-laws, and 10 grandkids. He loves the outdoors and enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing. Mr. Shepard looks forward to serving the students, staff, and community of the Isanti Community Schools.
